Preparing a growing space is much easier when the substrate combines convenience, aeration, and good water retention capacity.

The RapidRIZE Coconut Block 7.6 liters is a House & Garden solution developed to facilitate plant preparation in indoor and outdoor facilities.

This block is made with 100% pressed coconut fiber, a plant material that increases considerably in volume when it comes into contact with water.

One of the particularities of this presentation is the incorporation of an outer mesh that keeps the coconut grouped together after expansion, allowing the whole to be used as a growing container without the need for a conventional pot in certain installations.

The compressed format makes storage and transport easier, while rapid hydration allows for an aerated growing medium in just a few minutes.

Thanks to the structure of the fiber, the substrate promotes a balanced distribution between moisture and oxygen, two fundamental factors for root development.

The RapidRIZE coconut substrate is especially suitable for those looking for a practical alternative to traditional coconut fiber bags, both in manual irrigation systems and automated installations.

What is RapidRIZE Coconut Block 7.6 liters?

The RapidRIZE Coconut Block 7.6 liters is an expandable coconut fiber block designed to be used as a growing medium and, thanks to the outer mesh, also as a support that maintains the shape of the container once hydrated.

Manufactured under the House & Garden brand, this product belongs to a range of compact substrates that allow you to prepare growing spaces without handling large bags of soil or coconut.

The block is presented compressed to reduce the space needed during storage. When it receives water, the fibers regain volume and form a spongy structure that allows a plant to be placed directly.

The 7.6 liter presentation offers a suitable substrate volume for different plants grown in controlled spaces. The approximate dimensions after hydration are 20.3 × 20.3 × 18.4 cm.

A distinguishing feature of the RapidRIZE coconut fiber block is the mesh that surrounds the pressed material. This wrapping helps preserve the shape of the block and makes it easy to place in growing trays.

Main features include:

• Material: plant-based coconut fiber.
• Expanded volume: approximately 7.6 liters.
• Presentation: pressed coconut block.
• Brand: House & Garden.
• Wrapping: outer mesh that maintains the structure of the block.
• Expansion: rapid by adding water.
• Expanded dimensions: approximately 20.3 × 20.3 × 18.4 cm.
• Applications: indoor growing, coconut growing, and various horticultural installations.

Coconut fiber is a material widely used in horticulture for combining water retention and aeration capacity. These properties allow moisture to be available to the roots without completely losing the spaces intended for oxygen exchange.

The pressed coconut block 7.6 liters is a particularly practical alternative when you want to prepare several plants while maintaining a uniform distribution of containers.

What is RapidRIZE Coconut Block 7.6 liters used for?

The RapidRIZE Coconut Block 7.6 liters serves as a physical medium for root development in different types of crops. The structure of the coconut allows it to retain part of the water used during irrigation and promote air circulation around the root system.

In indoor growing installations, controlling substrate moisture is one of the most important aspects for maintaining balanced growth.

When the growing medium remains excessively compacted or saturated for prolonged periods, oxygen availability decreases. Coconut fiber helps maintain a porous structure, as long as irrigation and drainage are properly managed.

The main applications of the product are:

• Growing in coconut: allows plants to be grown directly on a medium composed of plant fiber.
• Transplanting rooted cuttings: provides a growing space to expand the root system.
• Vegetative development: offers a suitable physical environment for root growth during different stages.
• Manual irrigation: compatible with nutrition programs prepared in tanks or watering cans.
• Automated irrigation: can be integrated into trays and installations with drip systems.
• Space organization: makes it easy to distribute individual blocks on growing tables.
• Reduction of storage volume: allows the substrate to be stored compressed until the time of use.

One of the advantages of coconut substrate for hydroponics is that it allows nutrient supply to be controlled through solutions prepared specifically for the needs of each plant species.

However, coconut should not be confused with a complete fertilizer. The fiber is mainly a physical support and needs to be accompanied by an appropriate nutritional program.

To maintain crop balance, it is advisable to periodically check the pH and electrical conductivity (EC) of the nutrient solution, especially when using frequent irrigation systems.

The combination of good aeration, balanced moisture, and controlled nutrition can promote uniform root development.

How is RapidRIZE Coconut Block 7.6 liters used?

The RapidRIZE Coconut Block 7.6 liters is designed to make substrate preparation easier. It does not require special tools or complex procedures to start hydration.

Thanks to the rapid expansion system, the block increases in volume when it receives water and regains a spongy structure in a few minutes, depending on the amount of water applied and environmental conditions.

Recommended usage instructions:

1. Prepare the location: place the compressed block on a growing tray or surface that allows drainage to be collected.
2. Keep the outer mesh: keep the wrapping that surrounds the coconut, as it is designed to maintain the structure after expansion.
3. Add water gradually: add water little by little to facilitate uniform hydration.
4. Wait for expansion: allow the fiber to absorb the water until it reaches approximately the final volume of 7.6 liters.
5. Check moisture: verify that the coconut is evenly hydrated, avoiding dry areas inside.
6. Prepare the transplant: open a suitable space at the top to insert the root ball or previously rooted cutting.
7. Place the plant: carefully insert the roots and gently arrange the fiber around them.
8. Start the irrigation program: apply a suitable nutrient solution for coconut growing, adjusted to the needs of the plant species.

The RapidRIZE fast-expanding coconut allows you to reduce preparation time compared to other pressed coconut blocks that require longer hydration periods.

It is not advisable to add excessive amounts of
