Replacement probe for automatic PH and nutrient controllers, is an automatic PH meter compatible with controllers and PH meters that have a standard BCN connection. Its cable measures 1.5 meters.

Maintenance of AUTOMATIC PH CONTROLLER PROBE: 

- The electrode should be stored with the protective cap filled with a potassium chloride (KCI) solution. Another option would be to use distilled water.  

- If the electrode has accidentally dried out, it can be regenerated by immersing it overnight in distilled water or diluted hydrochloric acid (HCI). 

- It is very important not to touch the electrode with your fingers, paper, or anything other than water.  

It is also very important to keep the AUTOMATIC PH CONTROLLER PROBE clean: 

- To properly clean the AUTOMATIC PH CONTROLLER PROBE, immerse it for a few hours in a solution of 0.4% hydrochloric acid (HCI) and 5g/L of pepsin in distilled water. 

To calibrate the AUTOMATIC PH CONTROLLER PROBE :  

- The probe should be calibrated before use with PH 7 buffer solutions or Redox of known values. This same procedure should be repeated at long intervals depending on the type of use given to the PH measuring probe. In this way, you will obtain a correct reading of the PH level. 

Preparation and use of the AUTOMATIC PH CONTROLLER PROBE : 

- First, the probe should be placed vertically or at a maximum angle of 45 degrees. 

- Next, remove the protective cap, being careful not to damage the probe. 

- Finally, wash the electrode with water, without touching it with your fingers, or rubbing with paper or abrasive fabrics. Make sure that no air bubbles have formed inside the probe. If air bubbles form, gently shake the probe in a vertical position
